Grandma Henney Brownies

1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1-1/2 cups flour
2/3 cup cocoa
1/2 cup milk
3 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup nuts

Cream together shortening and sugar. One at a time add eggs, beating well after each. Alternate flour and cocoa with milk. Add vanilla and bake at 350F. for 25-30 minutes.

Cut while hot!

  2. I have to get some more Hershey's Cocoa to make them. I made them with some generic kind last time and they weren't as good.

  3. I must have done something wrong because mine turned out gross. You'll have to bring me some of yours so I can see the difference. Mine tasted more like a bland cake.
